My first “quick”transcription & fresh-sit (image #1) with Anthony Jackson’s basslines, began with the “tutti” runs. I thought it would be enough. But I just couldn’t stop. Every line Anthony Jackson plays is so essential and in my opinion, “perfect”, I had to transcribe as much as I could.

…If it’s just for me to read & play, like these examples, I go fast and use a kind of “shorthand” in my notation. —But if it’s for any other musician to read, I might start off this way, but I’ll digitize it later. It depends on how complicated the piece is.
